Angela and Andrew - Engaged!

I had never been to Washington Square in San Francisco before, so I was very happy that Angela and Andrew named it as their special place to hangout.  They took me to their favorite watering hole, a local Irish pub called O'Reilly's:

After grabbing a pint, we headed over to their favorite pastry shop, Mara's Italian Pastry:

Now that they were all filled up with a couple of chocolate croissants, we headed over to Washington Square Park to capture St Peter and Paul Church:

And then around the block and up Telegraph Hill.  A wonderful couple to photograph and I cannot wait to do their wedding!

Fisherman's Wharf Lifestyle Shoot

It's not often that you get to interact so closely with makeup, hair, wardrobe, and video folks all together during a photo shoot. The collaboration clearly paid off as you can see in the images.  The couple were very accommodating and went along with our ideas. We wandered through SF Fisherman's Wharf and captured some very picturesque snaps around the Bay Area.  I am happy that I was a part of that "Once upon a day in San Francisco" adventure. Congrats to the wonderful couple!

Nikki and MJ - Married!

Nikki and MJ are so perfect together .. they are kind and caring, fun-loving, laid-back and also, did I mention, huge Giants fans.Naturally, the wedding colors were orange and black.  I've worked with Nikki for over six years, so this was a special occasion for me as well.

Nikki and MJ were married on  September 10, 2011. They had a traditional catholic ceremony in Redwood City at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in front of a select group of family and friends.

There was a second ceremony held for everyone along with the reception at the San Mateo Marriott Hotel.

MJ and Nikki incorporated a baseball theme into the day. The guest tables were named after baseball teams. The wedding party walked to a play-by-play sportscaster style announcement by the DJ.

Everyone danced to the Hokey Pokey - a song famous all over the world-penned by Nikki's great grand father.

 

Congratulations Nikki and MJ! It was an honor and a delight to be a part of your day. I wish you lots of happiness in your future together.

Alex and Moddy Family Shoot!

I met up with this wonderful family near Golden Gate park where we had a little photo time and a little playground time.  They are such a beautiful family and so much fun to work with! Here are a few of my favorites from the day…

Nikki and MJ - Engaged!

It was a great day in July that I got to spend with MJ and Nikki for their Rhapsody engagement session. Crissy Field, Fort Point, Baker Beach, and AT&T Park were the shooting locations.  They are big time Giant fans so it was only natural that we used the location for a few photos.  Of course, Golden Gate bridge is the perfect spot for engagement shoots-no explanation needed.  The picture says it all don't it? Congrats you two! Looking forward to your wedding. :)

Hachim and Assia - Married!

Hachim and Assia took their vows at San Francisco City Hall. A grand location with high architectural ceilings and larger than life structures. After the ceremony, it was a quick trip around town visiting the Palace of Fine Arts and De Young Museum. Then it was on to the reception that was held at this fantastic Moroccan restaurant - Aziza.

Hachim and Assia are two people who love, live, and laugh (mostly laugh) through everything. Morocco is their tying bond, which is evident in the way that they treat people with respect, exuberance, and a great love for humor in typical Moroccan fashion. Congratulations to the lovebirds! You make a wonderful couple and we wish you many blessings on your journey ahead!
